MP3 players can be bad for you

We know everybody likes music. Who knew that if you listen to it to much, it can seriously damage your ears! I found this article was about kids and their MP3 players in Europe. Some scientists there did some studies on kids that listen to their portable music players too much and too loud. They found out that it could damage their ears after five years of usage. This could affect many kids in our generation who always have i-pods in their ears and are listening to music on their phone. The risk depends on the amount you listen to music and how loud you keep the volume. Scientists say that between 50 and 100 million people listen to portable music players daily and about 10 million people could be affected in Europe. This could be very bad for health later on in life. Imagine not being able to hear! I think that this should not be a concern as long as we limit ourselves. If we turn down the volume on our MP3 players and ipods and listen to a little less music, everyone could be fine. Until then, kids worldwide read this alert or you might be in a little bit of trouble.
